Before entering the music scene, Wolf had an interest in becoming an Olympic skier. She says she trained at Lake Tahoe and attended ski school up until the age of sixteen.

Wolf first entered the music scene when she started a band called Citrus with her two friends Tatyana and Chloe. The group would perform acapella at different parties and events. Wolf claims the experience helped her improve her singing ability and become more confident.

Citrus soon disbanded, and Wolf began writing music with Chloe. This partnership would prove fruitful, and the pair began performing at their school regularly. They then moved onto performing at different venues around their city, gaining minor fame in the process.

Wolf’s singing teacher nudged her to audition for American Idol when she was seventeen. She passed the first few rounds and made it to the Hollywood stage. However, she soon realized she wasn’t fond of the show’s arrangement. This was the moment she decided to follow her own path into the music world.

Many of Wolf’s fans are glad she chose this route, as the artist has been able to express herself more freely since. The young artist is looking forward to releasing new music, and is excited to be able to go back outside once the pandemic is over. You can see what Remi Wolf is up to on her Instagram.
