Inspired by the musical traditions of not only the U.S. but Nepal, Germany, Brazil, and India as well, Amber Mark's genre-blending take on pop and R&B is beyond refreshing and enticing. She began writing music in 2013 as a way to work through the tragic loss of her mother, and would release her first slew of singles in 2016 while in her early twenties. "Way Back" became the standout release of these singles, wth a premiere on Zane Lowe's infamous BBC Radio1 show. "Way Back" caught not only the attention of musical tastemakers, but of fans alike, as it quickly garnered over five million plays on Spotify alone and climbed the Apple and Spotify charts next to major artists like Drake and Justin Bieber. Following the more than kind reception to these singles, Amber Mark would release her debut album, the tropically tinged 3:33am, in 2017 to much acclaim. She follows her debut album, with her first single of 2018 "Love Me Right" from her upcoming EP, Conexão.
